Who am I?

My name is Sistine Renouil-Tiberghian and I am the great-granddaughter of the creator of Mailcott. As a film student with the goal of becoming a screenwriter, I decided to relaunch this brand that is part of my family history while I was still a student.

Why restart Mailcott?

Today, made in France remains rare and very expensive. My goal is to offer affordable items so that everyone can benefit from French quality.

But for the project to continue to grow, Mailcott needs to be able to sell more products. Such a production system is not worth the cost if only a few people buy. The more people buy clothes made in our French factories, the more they will be able to expand and offer cheaper clothes.

To give you an example, if every French person bought a little sweater made in France every year, it would create 12,000 jobs. I'm sure we can do it! Knitwear is a profession with a future. It is high time that my generation revalued these professions and offered you quality products, made by people who work in good conditions, at the right price.

The aim would be to have a great return of the textile industry in France. If Mailcott can participate in this on its own scale, I'm delighted.
